At the edge of the lush Cabrits National Park, on the island’s north end, the InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa is the sort of full-featured luxury resort that’s remarkably rare here; thanks to its unique location and its relative seclusion, it offers an unusually self-contained experience. Its rooms are substantial in their comforts and tastefully modern in their design, and the best ones have views of the extinct volcano at the heart of Cabrits. A large spa and fitness center and a beach-style swimming pool are among the daytime diversions, and the dining venues include the Kwéyòl Beach Restaurant and Bar.
