The first hotel in Germany for the venerable luxury brand, the Rosewood Munich is a modern hotel in a heritage building — or a pair of them, to be precise. Within the walls of the old State Bank of Bavaria headquarters and the grand old Palais Neuhaus-Preysing, right in the heart of old Munich, are some 132 rooms and suites, decorated in a timeless contemporary-classic style and outfitted with state-of-the-art luxuries. The Asaya Spa’s wellness offerings are thorough, and among the dining and drinking venues are Cuvilliés, a restaurant inspired by Alpine flavors, and the retro-styled Bar Montez.
