Winner of no less than 2018’s World’s Best Green Ski Hotel, Rocksresort, located right next to Laax’s cable-car station, is powered by regional hydroelectricity and is constructed with sustainably sourced materials. They’ve even constructed a honeybee habitat on the premises, akin to its habitat intended for guests’ own hives of activity. Alongside stylish suites and double rooms, Rocksresort offers apartments that are geared toward families or groups of four to eight. Skiing or hiking amidst Alpine wildflowers may be the main draw, but guests will be grateful to discover the culinary delights of the Surselva region in one of the resort’s many restaurants.
