The highly esteemed Fufu brand operates high-end, modern ryokan-style inns across Japan; Fufu Karuizawa Yokou No Kaze is set in eastern Nagano Prefecture, with a view of the volcanic Mount Asama. Its surroundings are remarkably green, and that verdant atmosphere is brought indoors as well; public and private spaces alike are liberally supplied with living plants.
