Picture the Brazilian beach getaway of your dreams — set right on the sand, with a pool facing the ocean, the kind of place where everyone’s barefoot and cocktails are delivered directly to your chaise. That’s Casa Na Praia. It’s located on the legendary Jericoacoara Beach. The name means simply “Beach House,” which tells you plenty: this laid-back boutique hotel is postcard-pretty but wonderfully unpretentious. There’s just a handful of suites, all featuring beds draped with mosquito nets, a balcony or patio, and views of the sea or of the surrounding dunes. Duna do Pôr-do-Sol, one of the most famous sites in Jericoacoara National Park, is a short stroll away.
