Scandic Helsinki Airport is accessible via a covered walkway from Terminal 2, which means you don’t even have to brave the elements. The rooms and suites are decorated in warm tones and natural wood, and if the style is more classic comfort than avant-garde, it’s no accident. Three meals a day are served in the central restaurant, with its towering, light-filled atrium, and the adjacent lobby bar is open for similarly long hours to suit intercontinental schedules.
