The stately Second Empire edifice that is the Hôtel Barrière Le Grand Hôtel Dinard was in fact Dinard’s very first hotel, and though it’s been extensively renovated by the Barrière group it’s lost none of its 19th-century grandeur. The rooms are generously sized and full of plush comforts; the most desirable ones, naturally, face out to sea. There’s a wellness center with a spa, sauna, and hammam, and there’s plentiful space for lounging, both indoors and out. Le 333 Café serves afternoon tea and cocktails into the night; Le Georges V, the gourmet restaurant, is a local institution.
