Located on the edge of the popular Canal Ring neighborhood, Hotel V Frederiksplein is set within striking range of both conventional sightseeing — Museumplein is a 15-minute walk away — and De Pijp’s hip nightlife. While small (though not outrageously so for Amsterdam), rooms are thoughtfully decorated with flat-screen TVs, rainfall showers, and cozy leather arm chairs. Though there’s no on-site restaurant, guests can enjoy breakfast by the 360-degree open fireplace in the lobby, and bike rentals are available for exploring the city.
