Grand Hotel Imperiale Resort & SPA
The spa complex itself is modern both in its treatments and in its architecture and design, but it doesn’t detract from the atmosphere a bit — the rooms and suites, meanwhile, remain true to the hotel’s century-old style, both in the main hotel and in the stunning semi-private Villa Imperiale.
A dramatic lakeside swimming pool is among the Imperiale’s greatest strengths, as are its two restaurants: the more casual Ulivo serves guests in the hotel’s garden, while the more formal Imperialino is set right at the lakeside, and serves simple but unmistakably high-end Italian fare with the sort of view that’s precisely why you came to Lake Como in the first place.

This beautiful grand hotel is on the eastern shore of Lake Como about 10 minutes by car from the city of Como. The pool is lively and right on the lake shore. The hotel and staff were perfect for a nice relaxing three nights on our tour of northern Italy. There are so many beautiful villages along Lake Como that there is always something nice to do visiting the villages or taking a boat tour on the lake, or just relaxing by the pool which is right at the lake shore. We had a perfect stay.
It's right on the lake so its in an amazing location. But so are many other hotels in Lake Como.
location and indoor parking - but way to expensive
