Modern Design & Quiet
One MICHELIN Key · A very special stay
The upscale residential neighborhood of Roma is home to more than a few century-old mansions, but this one is unique — built from bricks shipped over from England, it was the custom-built residence for the head of the Bank of London & Mexico. It was later owned by one of Mexico’s presidents, and today, after a thorough but sensitive renovation, it’s one of Mexico City’s finest small luxury hotels.

Ironically, there’s not much in the way of exposed brickwork; the color scheme, inside and out, is built on soothing neutrals, and the hotel’s Belle Époque architecture has been updated with modern details, from the parquet floors to the Deco-styled full-length mirrors to the floor-to-ceiling windows. And while they’re restrained in their visual style, the rooms and suites are lavish in their comforts, especially the two-level Rooftop Suites with their private patios.

There’s also a luxe little spa with a sauna and steam room, and a gym offering fitness classes and personal training. And, perhaps unusually for such a small hotel, Brick features multiple dining and drinking venues, from the Embury Speakeasy and Lounge to the upscale Cerrajería and the more casual Orizaba Terrace.
