The single-story layout means most rooms open directly onto private patios or garden courtyards, some with views of the pool, others tucked beneath an old California oak. Rooms range from 250 to 400 square feet, furnished simply with rain showers and ceiling fans. There is a fire pit for evening wine, breakfast served in a communal space, and not much else, which seems to be the point.
