On the outskirts of Llucmajor, a few minutes from the Palma airport, is a 15th-century agricultural estate that’s gone the way of so many Mallorcan farmhouses: it’s now a luxury boutique hotel. Son Julia Country House Hotel contains some 32 rooms and suites, which marry antique atmosphere and contemporary design with a pronounced Arab influence.
