Next to the History and Art Museum in Luxembourg's UNESCO-listed old town, Parc des Beaux-Arts runs out of the Gëlle Klack house, a building whose timber frame dates to 1510, making it the oldest in the city. The building's history reads like architectural archaeology: salt merchant's house in the 15th century, baroque windows added in 1736, bay window in the 1890s.
