Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel is a bona fide hospitality icon. This grand old Renaissance Revival–style edifice has presided over the end of Rodeo Drive since 1928, and is familiar not only to luxury shoppers but to cinemagoers as well, having appeared in Pretty Woman and countless other Hollywood films. Enter, though, and you’ll be anything but intimidated; the standard of service here is such that every guest immediately assumes VIP status.

And though it’s proud of its history, the Beverly Wilshire is anything but stuck in the past. A 2022 renovation leaves the rooms and suites looking refined indeed: soothing but too richly detailed to be minimalist, quietly luxurious but not so quiet as to be forgettable, and contemporary yet suffused with Old Hollywood atmosphere.

The Spa at Beverly Wilshire is among the most highly regarded in town, and the hotel’s pool, with its Italian-villa atmosphere, is justifiably famous as well. Among the restaurants is CUT by Wolfgang Puck, a local institution since 2006; the location, meanwhile, places all the best of Beverly Hills right at your feet.
