There’s no mistaking Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Limassol for an amateurish little boutique operation — this is luxury hospitality on a large scale, and the experience that it delivers is all the more memorable for that fact. It’s set on a lushly gardened parcel of land on the south coast of Cyprus, a few minutes outside of Limassol proper, and it’s likely some guests never venture off the property — this is a fully self-sufficient resort experience, complete with high-end retailers and a Clefs d’Or concierge to help make sense of it all.
Parklane’s 222 rooms, 34 suites, and 18 villas span the range from traditional double rooms all the way to a three-bedroom villa with a private swimming pool. Even the base level is luxurious, with stylish furniture, bedside control panels, and lavish bathrooms. And guests who book suites or villas gain not only extra space but the benefits of the hotel’s Bespoke Collection VIP program as well.
Multiple pools and an extensive spa and fitness program are among the leisure facilities, as well as tennis courts, a mini-football pitch, and direct beach access. The greatest extravagance, however, might be the kids’ club, set in a castle that’s larger than some boutique hotels, and staffed by child-care professionals. Meanwhile the hotel’s many restaurants include NAMMOS Limassol, an outpost of the famous Mediterranean restaurant, as well as La Petite Maison, a culinary tribute to the French Riviera.
