Camptown Catskills
The lodge and its 24 rooms make up only half the lodgings — they’re joined by 26 cabins, each one different but all of them variations on the central theme. Whether in a room or a cabin you’re treated to comforts that are unusually high-end for the Catskills, from Frette linens and handsome tiled bathrooms with heated floors to Bluetooth sound systems and a thoughtful selection of books.
A self-service pantry serves locally sourced beers, wines, and snacks, and there’s a communal firepit as well as grills for guest use. Self-service, however, is far from the only option — the hotel’s own Casa Susanna is a modern Mexican restaurant by chef Efrén Hernández, serving a remarkably authentic Jaliscan cuisine sourced from the Hudson Valley’s finest produce.

The hotel was clean and the cabins were spacious! We loved the decor and the very special staff who made our stay comfortable. My wife and I were very happy with the selection of food and a big plus, they use Tandem Coffee from Portland... A+
The vibe and thoughtfulness of the entire staff
It's a good hotel for a weekend. The queen cabin isn't spacious for more than two or three days, but it was very clean, and the location is super convenient.
