On the outskirts of Beppu, a bayside city on the Japanese island of Kyūshū, Galleria Midobaru makes excellent use of the area’s famous geothermal springs. Each room comes with its own hot-spring onsen, plus a furnished balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows with overwater views.
