Hotel Pacai has borne witness to centuries of Vilnius’s storied past — from the grandeur of the czars to Napoleon’s march, through the Soviet era, and into modern independence. Originally constructed in the 15th century as a noble residence, the building today houses a refined, design-forward hotel that masterfully blends historical legacy with contemporary elegance.
Its meticulous restoration pays homage to every era it has survived: original parquet floors creak with character, while centuries-old wooden joists and hand-painted frescoes emerge from beneath carefully preserved plaster.
