Overlooking the Adriatic from a hillside in Orebić, Villa Korta Katarina is part grand villa, part boutique hotel, and part winery. Originally designed as a private home, the 1930s estate now features eight suites styled with Baroque touches: gilt mirrors, chandeliers, and balconies that open to the sound of waves below. American philanthropists Lee and Penny Anderson opened the property in 2018 following nearly a decade of restoration, pairing it with a winery focused on the bold reds of the Pelješac Peninsula. Guests can cruise the coast aboard the villa’s yacht or enjoy a private tasting among the vines.
