Ten suites in downtown Florence honor the Shoals' eclectic heritage, from Muscle Shoals Sound Studio legends to fashion designer Billy Reid to outlaw Tom Clark, who murdered 19 people during the Civil War and was buried beneath Tennessee Street to spite his own boast that "nobody would ever run over Tom Clark." Seven suites have balconies overlooking historic Florence, all with walk-in showers and Peacock Alley bedding. The common area features a bar inlaid with honeycomb onyx and architectural exposed beams. Keyless entry means you're left alone unless you need something, which is exactly the point.
