MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
Dietmar and Nicole Sawyere call this "micro-restaurant experience" what awaits you in the evening at the "Bijou" in the neat inn dating from 1570. The atmosphere here is pleasantly personal and intimate, the service attentive and cordial. An exciting culinary combination of Swiss and Asian cuisine is offered in the form of a surprise menu with six courses. The menu is called the "Hintersassen Menu" - a reference to the settlers of Dallenwil who moved here from further afield and integrated new ideas. As an alternative restaurant, the house also runs the regionally oriented "Stübli".
