Once a classic Marigny guesthouse, The Maidstone has been reimagined by Studio Tre as a relaxed, design-forward stay with a distinctly American mid-century thread. Its 18 rooms layer cork floors, custom birch furniture, rattan mirrors, and textiles by Oaxacan artist Ismael Gutierrez Montano with comforts like Frette linens and in-room robes. Outside, a saltwater pool and tiled wall fountain anchor the garden courtyard. It is a small hotel, but a refreshing alternative to the city’s grander, more historic stays.
