Traditional Elegance & Quiet
One MICHELIN Key · A very special stay
Perched on a hillside to the south of Florence, Torre di Bellosguardo lives up to the meaning of its name: tower of the beautiful view. The idyllic setting is well worth the 15-minute uphill walk from the city. Full of museum-worthy antiques and wrought iron lamps, this Renaissance villa’s grand foyer features frescoes by the artist Bernardino Poccetti, whose works can also be spotted inside the Pitti Palace. The outdoor pool, surrounded by lemon trees, might just have the best view of Florence, and is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon, aperol spritz in hand. Once owned by a friend of Dante, the hotel continues to welcome illustrious company, including celebrities like Kate Moss, Emma Thompson, and Daniel Day-Lewis.
