The Amelia Hudson
Breakfast is a relatively simple affair, featuring housemade granola and pastries; a restaurant is beyond the Amelia’s aspirations, but the town center is amply blessed in that department. There is, however, a lovely 35-foot swimming pool, fringed with greenery and blooming flowers, as well as an outdoor fire pit and a deck for al fresco socializing and small events. It’s a fine introduction to the virtues of the Hudson Valley, and seems likely to become a favorite among guests who are charmed by the town and the region.
