Qazaq Auyl spreads 19 modular cabins across the Medeu Gorge, where the Almaty mountains close in and the air turns sharp. Each cabin uses wood, stone, linen, and metal, materials that feel more deliberate than decorative. One and two-bedroom options come with private saunas, heated floors, and panoramic windows that open onto hiking trails and, in winter, nearby ski slopes. The on-site restaurant serves regional Kazakh cooking made with seasonal ingredients from the area. It is mountain hospitality stripped down to what actually works: warmth and proximity to trails worth walking.
