The rare luxury hotel on Cap Corse, Corsica’s northern peninsula, Misíncu threads a delicate needle: it’s refined enough for high-end travelers, but unpretentious enough to feel authentically a part of one of Europe’s last wild places. After a brief midcentury turn as a glamorous refuge for French film stars, this villa is back as a 29-room luxury boutique hotel — locally owned and full of Corsican flavor. There’s a luxurious little spa set in an olive grove, and the restaurant, Tra Di Noi — “just between us” — is a suitably intimate affair, serving upscale local cuisine with a view out to sea.
