Modern Design & Lively
One MICHELIN Key · A very special stay
The same Bunkhouse brand responsible for about half of the finest hotels in Texas has expanded beyond the confines of the Lone Star State. Hotel Genevieve, in Louisville’s lively East Market neighborhood, adapts the mini-chain’s signature variety of unpretentious boutique charm to this uniquely French-influenced riverside city. It’s a new build, but one designed to fit in among downtown Louisville’s finest examples of French-inspired architecture.

Hotel Genevieve’s rooms and suites are colorful, and more than a little bit Parisian in style; the colors, in particular, are rich and saturated, and their curvaceous furnishings feel like an Art Deco homage. And Bunkhouse has always had an eye for details; present in every room are luxe touches like Sferra linens, Kassatex towels, and Ortigia bath products.

Like any great boutique hotel, Hotel Genevieve is more than just the sum of its rooms. Restaurants include the versatile Bar Genevieve. Lucky Penny, the swanky semi-secret cocktail bar, is one of the hotel’s finest spaces, and the Mini Marché is an expertly curated convenience store, while a new restaurant will be opening this fall.
