Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
Le Bife’s gastronomic proposal follows the concept of Bistronomie, offering high-end cooking at accessible prices, and here they take that concept very seriously indeed! The main offering is to choose a cut of meat with a sauce of your choice, alongside chips, farofa and salad. To round things off, rodízio-style sides are offered, including rice, various types of purées, creamed spinach, assorted vegetables... The menu also has starters to share, such as Canapé de Steak Tartar or Filé Mignon à Provençal, or, if you’d prefer an individual portion, Onion Soup topped with puff pastry and a Parmesan crust, a cracking choice. The space has two interconnected rooms and an imposing glass-fronted wine cellar, with an interesting selection of wines to pair with your meal. A tip? Book ahead, as the place is always packed!
