Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta
There are hotels in town that are more modern in style, and hotels that are more classical as well. The Four Seasons walks a middle path, with a colonial look and all the business-class trappings. There are times when you want to be soothed, rather than challenged, by a hotel, and these plush rooms, complete with marble baths, deep soaking tubs and private balconies overlooking the city, are nothing if not soothing.
Facilities, as you might expect, are pretty much comprehensive; there’s a fitness center open around the clock, and the spa is worth the trip in itself. Restaurants include a steakhouse and an upscale Cantonese option, and the business facilities are top-notch as well — it’s certainly more than adequate for leisure guests but this city-center Four Seasons is squarely aimed at the high-end business traveler.
