Soprarno Suites
The building dates back to the sixteenth century, and inside you’ll find ornate period architectural details exist comfortably alongside contemporary Italian designer furniture, era-spanning vintage finds, and all manner of artworks and objets. The suites are more than spacious enough, and also more than comfortable enough — add to them the convenience of a library, a record collection, and a shared kitchen space, and what you’ve got is a very stylish, very civilized residential-style hotel. There’s no restaurant, it’s true, but your hosts are happy to help, if you’re in need of a recommendation.

The location was great, on an interesting street filled with cool little shops and wine bars, very near Palazzo Pitti, and just a few short blocks to the Ponte Santa Trinita - one bridge west of the Ponte Vecchio. The room was spacious with 14'+ high ceilings, nice black out drapes over the big windows, and a new, unique 2-person shower in the well-equipped bathroom. Viviana was lovely and extremely helpful with dinner reservations, taxis, etc. And we received a Tablet Plus welcome, complete with bottle of wine and fruit platter. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was okay, in a charming space.

The rooms are true suites, they are huge and spacious. Personally as I work while I travel it was an ideal spot to stay for a week and power through my work. I felt like i was living in a luxury house as the service is great but you don't see people as much as you do in a hotel normally, it is very private and you feel like you have your own space inside. They are also very dog friendly and treated my little doggy really nicely.
