A 12th-century château with a view of the Millau Viaduct from its lovely little rooftop pool, the Château de Creissels is notable not just for its history but for its updated contemporary style as well; the rooms, though furnished with carefully chosen antiques, are more akin to modern boutique hotel rooms than to castle bedchambers.
