Located in the pulsating Navy Yard, this industrial and hip dining room is celebrated for its roaring hearth. While the bar, set beneath an array of colorful tiles, is at one end, the display kitchen and chef's counter is in full view.

À la carte is the way to go here, but groups will do better with the hyper-seasonal "SOFRA" (prix-fixe). Regardless, Chef Michael Rafidi's dishes are full of surprises, as he weaves in the flavors of Palestine with Jordanian elements and a myriad of local ingredients. Melon and peach fattoush with sumac plums and labneh, as well as yellowfin tuna with kibbeh naya and puffed bulgur reflect the chef's modern sense; while desserts like watermelon sorbet with Lebanese olive oil speak to his clean and pristine culinary vision.
