Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
Le Variétés is steeped in the Art deco elegance of the Flagey “ocean liner” edifice, an iconic work by architect Joseph Diongre. Exotic wood dominates the sleek brasserie interior, while the terrace plunges you into the buzzy vibe of this lively district. Roast chicken is the house specialty, but the menu boasts a host of other dishes, including a patriotic line-up of Belgian family favourites: tomatoes stuffed with shrimp and vol-au-vent. All the food is down-to-earth, generous and steeped in flavour.
