My experience is when i book through Tablet my room is only as nice or less nice. In this case it was truly mediocre. One specific beyond this experience is when i booked at the Fairmont in SF and got a smoking room and the hotel was sold out. I am so disappointed, I have cancelled my automatic renewal of Tablet and will reconsider in 6 months. Regarding this hotel stay, our room was a handicapped room in far reaches of the floor directly next to the maid quarters and employee rest area which were noisy. The room lacked adequate lighting with no light whatsoever on one side of each of the queen beds. The hotel is in no man land of edge of Cambridge on busy road with 1/2 mile walk to anything other than office buildings.
