Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking

Oltrarno, San Niccolò district, here is an atypical restaurant: almost all customers find a seat along a counter as in a sushi bar, even if the recipes are predominantly Tuscan, in some of their most delightful interpretations. Listed on a blackboard, variously stuffed cappellacci and pici are among the starters, while the main courses are at their best, from trippa alla fiorentina to peposo, and beef tongue in dolce forte. They do not take reservations at lunchtime.
