En route for the French Riviera, the movie stars of Paris, from Mistinguett to Jean Gabin and Fernandel, used to stop off in this village so beloved of wine buffs. In this attractive location, Adrien Soro, who held a MICHELIN star at his Dordogne restaurant La Meynardie, serves up flavoursome Mediterranean cuisine, with a talent for elevating the ingredients and vegetables of Provence. The splendid wine list features a knock-out selection of Châteauneuf-du-Pape labels.
