Contemporary Classic & Happening
If Soho House’s global expansion aims to remain true to its original purpose — that of gathering like-minded creative people in an inclusive but private community — then it was only a matter of time before Tel Aviv became part of the plan. Soho House Tel Aviv, Jaffa is, for now at least, the only Soho House with a turreted tower as part of its construction, thanks to the unique 19th-century building it calls home. And while it’s a decidedly urban experience, its location, barely a quarter-mile from the old port, lends it a seaside atmosphere reminiscent of the brand’s line of beach houses.

The rooms are beautifully tailored to their setting, combining Soho House’s eclectic, bohemian aesthetic with materials, references, and colors appropriate to this ancient city, as well as a bit of well-earned Bauhaus influence. Some are quite small, others more spacious, and all are comfortable and even subtly luxurious. There’s art everywhere, most of it by well-known local artists, especially in the public spaces, which are the reason for the club’s existence — here Tel Aviv’s creative professionals mix over meals and drinks in the Pantry and the Courtyard Gardens.
