Cetina Palacio de los Salcedo
Calle de San Pablo, 18, Baeza, Spain
30 Rooms
Traditional Elegance & Quiet
The Gothic-style-facade of the Cetina Palacio de los Salcedo might look austere, but once inside the decorative coffered ceilings and grand arched loggia serve as a quick reminder that this was once a 16th century palace, home to the noble Counts of Garciez. Centuries-old stone walls, restored beamed ceilings, and carved wood furnishing also bring a touch of historic character to the 30 guest rooms, some of which come with a private balcony. There’s no restaurant or facilities, just an all-day lobby bar for snacks, but the hotel’s excellent location in the heart of Baeza’s old town means you’ll be too busy sightseeing to miss them, and never far away from a tapas bar to grab drinks and dinner.
