The Hotel June
It helps that the rooms are well soundproofed, allowing you to focus on their warm, sunny minimalism, their organic materials (and live plants!), and their stylish custom furniture. They stop short of the Proper hotels’ unapologetic luxury, but they’re comfortable, with Fili D’Oro bedding and Aesop bath products.
And a boutique hotel isn’t complete without some enviable public spaces; here they include a Baja-inspired Caravan Swim Club, a palm-fringed pool deck with a bar, a fire pit, and a terrace restaurant under the direction of chef Angie Lee, an alum of Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury-hotel kitchens. The menu mixes modern Californian and classic Northern Mexican flavors, accompanied by biodynamic wines and small-batch tequilas.

Very close to airport
We loved the huge bathroom and large bedroom. It’s nice to be able to get dressed with privacy. We loved the public spaces. The restaurant was great. And it was so close to the airport which was important for a 6am flight out of LAX. Also like being close to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. We like how serene it felt being there after trips in the city.
Attractive simple mid century modern vibe. Warm welcome from the staff. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but functional with nice towels and products. Convenient option for the Playa Vista / Westchester area.
It's a very solid hotel. We at Hotel June whenever we have a quick trip to LA and need airport proximity without feeling like you're at an airport hotel. Facilities are great, hotel is well-designed, food is good, and the staff is nice. It's super affordable though there are all the little taxes and fees that tend to pop up at the end + valet, but it's LA after all. Will keep coming back!
