V Villas Phuket - MGallery Collection

Compared to many luxury resorts on the island, V Villas Phuket - MGallery Collection is intimately sized. The designers opted for space and exclusivity at the hotel’s remote hilltop location overlooking Ao Yon Bay — instead of squeezing in as many rooms as possible, they built just nineteen villas, many of which feature two stories and three or four bedrooms. Apart from a few that face the hills, the rest have dazzling ocean views, and all come with private infinity pools and personal butler service around the clock.

The interiors are spacious and elegant, with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors opening onto large wooden decks seemingly suspended over the sea. Indoors and out, the decor is minimalist, characterized by natural hues that mirror the surrounding landscapes. Standard amenities include Bose sound systems and marble bathrooms with twin spa baths, and the highest-end presidential villa features a sleek kitchen, living room, dining room, wine cellar, and art gallery. Breakfast is served in the Art Deco-style restaurant, or on request, the hotel’s signature floating breakfast can be arranged at one’s private pool. At sunset, the striking rooftop bar, with its wide open-air deck and DJs spinning tunes, is a picture-perfect spot for reclining on a daybed with a tropical cocktail.
