The owners here claim that this 17th Century baroque property in the heart of the Old Town was once the most magnificent mansion in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania; today, it’s home to a boutique hotel complete with a spa and this stylish restaurant. Start with a drink in the large, retro-style cocktail bar, before moving on to interesting seasonal dishes with a strong Lithuanian base. The wine list is highly recommended, with some great vintages at every turn and a good selection of different wines by the glass. In the summer months, when the light lasts long into the evening, the central courtyard becomes an appealing oasis.
