The 11 rooms and suites in the old palace offer classic architectural details, but the 55 in the new wing are scarcely less attractive. The hotel’s Mandalay Spa imports Indian and Thai therapies, while the Bistrô Flores and the Bar dos Maias offer a modern haute-cuisine spin on Portuguese traditions.
