How to get there: To get to Banyan Tree Lijiang travel to Kunming International Airport. From there it is a 40 minute domestic flight to Lijiang Airport. Alternatively, you can take a flight to Shanghai International Airport, followed by a four and a half hour domestic flight to Lijiang Airport. Lijiang Airport is approx. a 40 minute drive from Banyan Tree Lijiang.

The hotel was so comfortable, elegant, zen-like. I appreciated all the details like the incense and aromatic oil in the entryway and the fresh flower petals on the bed at night. The staff was wonderful too.
