MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
With its cosy mountain-style decor, this converted 18C coaching inn on the road to the Gorges de la Diosaz is home to a creative restaurant that piqued our curiosity. Over the course of a single multi-course set menu, the young chef cooks up dishes that draw ingredients both from the lakes and the mountains, such as Arctic char with beurre blanc, cooked to perfection, or crayfish ravioli enhanced by a beautifully emulsified bisque. On top of that, the welcome and service are the epitome of charm. Six guestrooms for an extended stay, and view of the summit of Mont Blanc.
