This 300-year-old timber-framed house, with its charming exterior, conceals a restaurant that has become a culinary landmark in the region. Chef-patron Christian Kuchler is a master of classic cuisine, but he also incorporates creative twists and Asian influences into his cooking. All the dishes have one thing in common: the finest ingredients are showcased through precise technique, their natural flavours allowed to shine. The set menu and à la carte offerings are equally enticing. As well as the cosy, tastefully designed dining rooms, there is a delightful terrace.
