MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Established in 1970 by an elderly Gaeseong native, this restaurant has been serving Gaeseong-style dumplings for three generations. The dumplings here are large, plump and filled with a generous amount of shredded napa cabbage and mung bean sprouts. The soup broth is made with beef brisket, and the owners prepare the dumplings by hand daily with the freshest ingredients. The traditional Korean hanok setting is both charming and elegant.
