MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
It is hardly surprising that this restaurant is so popular. As well as charming and attentive service, diners are drawn by the regionally influenced cuisine conjured up by chef-patron Sven Molitor. Made using carefully selected ingredients, his dishes reveal talent and good craftsmanship. They are down-to-earth, but also show a certain finesse here and there. The traditional family-run hotel Die Post offers well-kept guestrooms for overnight stays – an ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of the village, which is located in the Meerfelder Maar volcanic crater.
