Caesars Gardens Hotel & Spa
The interiors are unmistakably Aegean in aspect, with a certain handmade roughness to the materials — driftwood, stone, and traditional crafts. There’s also a fair bit of boutique polish, as evidenced by the flat-screen televisions and the luxe modern bathrooms. Accommodations range from generously sized rooms up through suites and bungalows, and everyone shares a central pool and jacuzzi, ringed with loungers, sunbeds, and gazebos.
Similarly low-key is the vibe at the Magnolia Spa, which finds relaxation in its setting as much as in its treatments. And two restaurants serve farm-to-table Greek cuisine: Tárate, the more traditional of the two, and César, the meze bar on the rooftop by the pool.
