With a hearth, mud walls and old trees, the interior of this restaurant is reminiscent of an old, rural house. The owner-chef procures quality buckwheat to make nihachi and juwari soba. The ‘Imoyama Soba’ is warm noodles topped with meringue mixed with yam, yolk, plus nori, and has a pleasant taste and texture. You’ll want to try the soba in each season, made with bamboo shoots in spring, gourd in summer, mushrooms in autumn and grilled eggplant in winter.
