The Harmonie Vienna, BW Premier Collection
The décor, then, is bright, sunny, historically aware but never musty. The artworks, abstract as they are, are actually transcriptions of dance movements by the Peruvian painter Luis Casanova Sorolla. And the atmosphere is breezy, convivial, the social life revolving around a central lounge and library where tea and cakes flow freely.
Rooms start out on the cozy side, but they’re perfectly comfortable, with plush beds and indulgent bathrooms. They expand as you move up the range, and the suites are downright lavish, spanning 33 square meters and offering impressive views from the building’s fourth and fifth floors.
Breakfast is an expansive buffet featuring fine local baked goods, organic produce, and other Austrian products. And while there’s no restaurant, you’re hardly on your own — from here, just outside Vienna’s central ring, you’re within easy reach of no end of restaurants, not to mention shops, museums, and all manner of cultural attractions.

From the warm welcome to the sincere farewell, everything about this hotel was perfect. The location is off the beaten track and quiet, but very near the D Tram which will goes to many top sites. Service was charming and very efficient, breakfast a daily delight. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and very pretty. We were so sorry to leave but will return.
